Summer Breeze, Salty Air

It's a great summer. I have renewed inspiration and even some positive motivation as far as the art front is concerned and personally I am just feeling very optimistic and happy. There are some struggles on the home front but I have a goal (January 2009) to have things straightened out for me.

My boyfriend and I have taken some cool pictures using my camera. He got me two awesome gifts that prove to be very helpful: a 4GB compact flash and two types of filters that fit over the lens of my camera. Whew they make a huge difference! Combined with Adobe Lightroom (thanks :icongreasygrandma:!) and I should have some neat stuff!

I also got my hands on Photomatix which is used for processing HDR (High Dynamic Range) photographs. As soon as I figure out how the hell they work, I will definitely post them. So far my attempts have been pretty... lame.
